Wildcat to start drillig at Foster River Zinc project
by Jo Black

Wildcat Exploration Ltd., a Winnipeg-based company exploring for gold and base metals in Canada, has commenced the 2008 summer exploration program on its 11,800 hectare Foster River zinc lead property, which is located some 120 kilometres north of La Ronge, Saskatchewan.
The company claims that the Foster River zinc lead property is characterised by mineralisation resembling Broken Hill type deposits, and it hopes good exploration results from the property.
The company is also encouraged with the recent recently completed helicopter-borne DIGHEM electromagnetic and magnetic survey that shows multiple anomalies for investigation along two major northwest trends.
The company had mobilised two geological teams to the central portion of the property on June 20, 2008. The petrographic and geochemical analyses has indicated similarities between the Foster River Zn-Pb mineralisation and the mineraliaation occurring in other BHT deposits worldwide.
The company has plans to include the areas on the northern two claims which contain the Robyn Lake and Mackie Zn-Pb occurrences.
The drilling program was initially scheduled to be completed mid-August, but it may delayed due to forest fires in the area and specifically around the Sito Lake camp.
