Nordex announces additional mining claims
by Jo Black

Nordex Explosives Ltd., a developer, manufacturer and distributor of explosives for the mining, quarry and road construction industries, has obtained additional mining claims in Melba Township located approximately 22 kilometres north of Kirkland Lake, Ontario.
The acquired new mining claims in Melba Township covers an area of 240 hectares.
The newly acquired claims are in addition to 289 hectares of mining claims in Melba Township that Nordex already controls under various leases. The 240 hectares of new claims are adjacent to the 289 hectares of existing claims.
Nordex Explosives has controlled the 289 hectares of existing claims going back to 1991. At this time, the company has no plans to carry out exploration work on the group of claims.
Founded in 1970, the company’s manufacturing operations and distribution centre is strategically located in one of the world’s largest mining regions near Kirkland Lake, Ontario.
