Oxbow Resources appoints VP Exploration
by Jo Black

Oxbow Resources, a company that is using innovative geological concepts and exploration technology to discover new gold and silver resources in well-established mineral belts, announced the appointment of Mr. James Laird as Vice President of Exploration.
Mr. Laird, who has an impressive list of precious and base metal deposit discoveries, brings over 30 years of experience as a mineral exploration consultant and exploration manager to major and junior mining companies
In addition to the numerous discoveries of precious and base metal deposits Mr. Laird has to his credit, he has also made several discoveries of industrial minerals, gemstones and lapidary materials.
Many of Mr. Laird’s discoveries of precious and base metal deposits have been based primarily in British Columbia, making him an excellent Vice President of Exploration for Oxbow Resources, explained CEO and President, Leonard D Fong.
Additionally, because he has designed, permitted and managed successful exploration programs in a variety of geological environments, he is a huge asset to the Company in implementing future exploration programs on other continents.
As a BC Qualified Prospector, Mr. Laird and his consulting company, Laird Exploration Ltd. have been a major provider of Canadian mineral specimen kits to the Geological Survey of Canada and multiple BC educational institutions.
He is also a published author, outdoor photographer and award-winning documentary filmmaker.
Mr. Fong said since our corporate restructuring, and last week’s announcement to bring Oxbow Resources to the bulletin board, I believe our shareholders can see that we are building a strong foundation.
From the onset, our goals have been to bring our flagship property, the Bristol Gold Project to fruition as skilfully and rapidly as possible, while creating a viable corporate structure.
Mr. Laird is an essential part of making these company goals a reality. I am pleased to welcome him as our Vice President of Exploration, concluded Mr. Fong.
