Upper Canyon engages with German firm

Upper Canyon Minerals Corp. entered into a consulting agreement with Small Cap Invest Ltd. (SCI). SCI is a European public relations firm for small and medium sized public companies, with Alexander Friedrich as President and CEO.
The investor relations program will focus on shareholder communications, corporate development and building Upper Canyon an active following of investment professionals throughout Europe. SCI will introduce the Company to European investment clubs, investment advisers, institutional investors, analysts and private investors.
Mr. Jack Bal, Director of the Company, commented, the European market awareness program led by SCI will add significant exposure to the Company, SCI is familiar with the mining sector having provided services for several resource based companies.
In consideration for its services, the Company will pay SCI a fee of EUR 5,000 Euros per month, plus expenses. SCI will also receive 100,000 stock options exercisable at CAD $0.50 for a two year period. This agreement becomes effective February 25, 2009, for an initial six-month term.
