Most metals see gains

Precious metals prices were higher in New York on Thursday after the US dollar again dropped, making the metals more attractive as investments.
December gold was $10.70 higher to $756.70 per troy ounce as investors looked for secure places to put their money.
Silver contracts for December added 32 cents to $13.99 per troy ounce, while January platinum jumped $22.40 to $1,420.40 per troy ounce.
Meanwhile among base metals, December copper fell 3 cents to $3.67 per pound in New York, while it was up $40 to $8,220 per tonne, or $3.73 per pound on the London Metal Exchange during the day.
Earlier in the London session, nickel was $730 higher to $32,225 per tonne even as stockpiles grew by 462 tonnes, while tin was up $50 to $16,050 per tonne, zinc added $36 to $3,101 per tonne, and aluminium gained $7 to $2,473 per tonne.
Lead fell $25 to $3,865 per tonne.
