In London, most base metals were higher over the week ahead of London Metal Exchange week, an annual gathering of metals executives which begins on Monday.
Copper was up by 2.1 percent to $8,200 per tonne on the week, while nickel added 3.1 percent to $31,450 per tonne, and tin gained 4.5 percent to $16,100 per tonne.
Lead gained 8.7 percent to $3,697 per tonne during the week after hitting a new record high at $3,725 per tonne during the session on Friday.
Only aluminium was lower in on the LME, falling 3.4 percent to $2,430 per tonne.
Meanwhile, December copper had dropped 1 cent to $3.73 per pound in New York at the close of trade Friday.
