Precious and base metals prices were down again on Wednesday. Gold was down $11.725 to $540.25/$541.00 per troy ounce.
Copper prices were down 1 percent to $4,719 per tonne, while zinc dropped 1.9 percent to $2,227 on an increase in warehoused supplies.
